In its various forms, good health, whether it be
physical, mental, or environmental, should be a coveted luxury. School
uniforms contribute to altering the mental health of children as they go
through the school system. They can suppress creativity and individuality,
which is crucial in a child’s developmental years. Furthermore, childhood
vaccination further contribute to one’s well-being throughout their entire
life. Over the past few decades, vaccinations greatly have almost eradicated
polio from the United States, a disease that has plagued society for hundreds
of years. Vaccinations also prevent society from falling victim to prevalent
diseases such as the flu, meningitis, and hepatitis. Moreover, the hydraulic
fracturing of natural gas can negatively affect the environment’s well-being. As
the U.S attempts to be energy independent, fracking is becoming increasingly more
popular; however the environmental side effects of this goal are being
overlooked.
